Complaint
wrong certificate sent
On March 20th, I submitted a request for the 20 hour course for the nursing professional consisting of Texas jurisprudence and ethics, adult oncology and geriatric assessment for 21.95.
I was sent another course that only included Adult oncology and geriatric assessment listed under the same "special package pricing" instead also for $21.95. I called in to resolve the issued and the only option I was given was to spend $10.00 more dollars and purchase a supplementary jurisprudence program. I was told by the representative that I had to supply an additional questionaire form to differentiate the two. The website nor the magazine state the form is needed.

Desired Settlement
i would like to be sent a certificate for 20 total hours as indicated in the special: 8 hours of geriatric assessment, 10 hours of oncology and two hours of jurisprudence instead of the certificate I was originally sent.

Final Consumer Response
Thanks for your time. This issue has been resolved. The company agreed to exchange the certificate. Thanks again.

Complaint
I purchased child abuse continuing education credits from Elite. As soon as I provided my credit card information, unauthorized charges occurred.
On 2/4/15, in order to obtain my social work license through PA Dept of Public Welfare, I needed to purchase continuing education credits for to two credit hours. I chose Elite and purchased the information and test for 24.97 and received a receipt for this amount. Within the next few hours, I received an unauthorized charge of $148 for books from ****** idea who that is but the charges were then withdrawn immediately. I then received a charge for $34.95 and $80.50 both for books from ***** ***** ********* called my credit card company and plan to challenge the charges. I believe my credit card information was not secure through Elite and my information was accessed by an outside source. This company is contracted through a government entity to provide these specific continuing education credits for child abuse hours. Their website says they are secure but they are not.I would not use them again.

Desired Settlement
My credit card company should arrange for the unauthorized charges to be reversed.

Business Response
Elite Continuing Education considers the security of customer data to be extremely important. We have been in business for over 15 years and we have a spotless record when it comes to handling our customers' data. We comply with PCI (Payment Card Industry) standards for data security and we regularly pass their audits for following best practices. It is unfortunate that unauthorized charges were made on the customers' card but we do not believe it is in any way connected to the use of the card at Elite Continuing Education. We agree that the customers' best recourse is to challenge the unauthorized charges, and will support any investigation or inquiry from the credit card company.
